The IPU university is taking admissions for the courses of Law through Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for people who are applying for particularly Under Graduate Course.
The national level law examination will be conducted in offline mode for the law aspirants to grab seats into two undergraduate law programmes on offer - BA LLB & BBA LLB. By conducting the law examination, IPU will be offering 1700 BA LLB and 660 BBA LLB seats.

6.COUNSELLING DATE : END OF MAY
Candidates can fill the application fee through online payment modes - Credit/Debit/Internet-banking. After remitting the fee, candidates then need to finally submit the application form of IPU CET Law 2019.
CLAT 2019 Eligibility:
To be eligible for CLAT, the students must have secured:
(A) Forty five percent (45%) marks in Qualifying Exam (Class XII examination) in case of students belonging to Unreserved /OBC /Specially Abled Persons (SAP) and other categories.
(B) Forty Percent (40%) marks in case of students belonging to SC/ST categories.
Students who are appearing in the qualifying examination in March/April 2019 are also eligible for appearing in CLAT-2019 Offline examination. However, they shall be required to produce an evidence of their passing the qualifying examination at the time of admission, otherwise they shall lose their right to be considered for admission.
The result of qualifying examination (i.e., 10+2) shall be submitted by the candidate at the time of admission failing which the candidate shall be ineligible for admission to the Course.
CLAT 2019 will be held from 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM on 12th May 2019.

The good news for law aspirants who wish to apply for IP law is that the university has now decided to admit candidates on the basis of CLAT scores as the IPU CET law 2019 exam has been discontinued as per the official notification. So, the applicants don't have to give separate exams and they can get admissions on the basis of CLAT scores only. The eligibility criteria for it's BA LLB course is that a candidates should have passed their 12th class under the 10+2 pattern of CBSE or equivalent with at least an aggregate of 50%. They should have also have a pass in English (core or elective or functional) as a subject.Also, there is no age limit to apply for the exam.
