The Entrance examination will be having questions with a different syllabus depending on the course which you want to pursue and the syllabus will be having questions both from class  12th , since the syllabus will be having such topics mainly focused on English, Logical Reasoning and the basic topics from Class 12th.

BA program is basically going to provide you with a combination of different courses such as statistics + economics, Maths + Economics, English+ Mathematics, Political science + Economics, however it depends from one college to another that which BA Programme course is being offered.
