Hello Vikash Saxena,

"RV is no different from other colleges, Except for the opportunities given to you.!", when a professor told me this in the first hour of the first day of college, I dint realize what he meant. But by the four years that passed by me, I was confident of myself, my personality and for showing my potential strength.

Say anyone in and around Bangalore that you are a student of RV or you did your graduation in RV, they look at you in a sense of respect.

Inside RV,

1)There is NO RAGGING, you wouldn't even know who your seniors are until you are in your second year:D

2) There are all kinds of teachers, Those who are strict, those who sit with you in the canteen and share your food, advice you and treat you with a sense of maturity, those who treat you like you are in kindergarten school :P

3)A vast campus of 53 acres, well built (Some parts are under construction though and some are very old, built during 1963).

4) There are teachers like KBN in mechanical department, who have worked for ISRO and have the passion of teaching.!

5) There are various forums where you can develop yourself as a personality, for Eg: There is NCC where students interested in joining Armed forces can enroll and get into ARMY, There is NSS, where social activities are conducted, CARV -Cultural club, technical clubs like: Ashwa, Garuda etc which has won international conferences and also a sports club which many people are in love with.!

6) Security is an important concept everywhere these days. And the guards are a little strict when it comes to ID card, but once they know you, they are the friendliest people ever.! (They are just doing their duty as a security guard.!)

7) You can request your teacher to let you off, if you are feeling too sleepy or not in a mood to attend classes during festivities, and they will let you off once in a while.! :)

8)I agree somethings may be negative, but once you stand in their place, you will understand why things are that way. (Dress code).

Whatever it is, as you step in you fall in love with the greenery, the sprikler irrigation which sprinkles water as you make your way out towards the gate, it is a beautiful sight.! You will fall in love with the new canteen, the light, labs, classes and everything.! And by the end of those four years, you know you have made enough memories for a lifetime.!!
