Yes, it is legally permitted as The Rajkiya Institute of Open Schooling (RIOS) formerly known as Rajkiya Open School (ROS) was established in February,2014 as an autonomous institution in pursuance of National Policy on Education 1986 by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Government of India. RIOS is providing a number of courses besides General and Academic Courses at Secondary and Senior Secondary level.
