It depends,

If you want admission in VIT Vellore campus you only need to score around 20 to 30 thousand rank

• You can also get admission there directly by paying 10 lakhs extra than fees
• Fees of vit for any Btech is 8 lakhs if you will stay in hostel then you need to pay around 15 lakhs for your Btech degree

I don't think it worth unless you have a big pocket

15 Lakhs for NONIIT Colleges doesn't worth it.

Instead you study abroad and get degree and job there.

Now considering JEE mains you need to have good rank to join any premier institute like IIT or NIT or DTU.NSIT.

Your rank must be between 30 thousand to get ece in NIT

If you just want any local College then you can get ECE for 60 thousand rank also.

But you beed to work hard, you should get a rank under 20 thosand to get a good College.
