ratio between the number of base pairs present in DNA wrapped around histone proteins and the number of nucleotides found in one linker DNA is
Hello
As you may know, a single nucleosome is known to consist of around 150 bp of dna sequences wrapped to a core of histone proteins.
According to van Holde (1988) the linker DNA has 20–90 base pairs (varying with species, tissues and genomes). On an avergae let us assume that it is 40 bp, in that case the ratio will be 15:4
