reference between sequence and progression
Answer (1)
Hello,
.
Sequence and progressions are both a set of numbers arranged in a order either finite or infinite. But here the difference is sequences are arranged in a set of numbers and progressions tells us what kind of sequences are going on here, it means either increasing, decreasing or running in an order.
.
Example for sequences are, 3,5,7,9,11......
Here there a particular rule for sequence to be followed
.
Example for progression can be 2,4,6,8.....or 1,2,3,4,5....
Here progression tells us 2 and 1 the progressive rules to be followed,. which means for every 2 is getting added and for another 1 is getting added
