Hi aspirant,

Both the colleges you have mentioned are are the sister branches of their main campuses. I would suggest you to to go with VIT amaravati over SRM TRP engineering college, Trichy. Vellore institute of technology has a high reputation among the educational world and provides its students the best chance to grow and grab their dream Jobs. Both the campuses are relatively new and there is no major differences between their acaedmics and curriculum. You will get better faculties at VIT as it is more research oriented and has a fully flexible credit system that allows the students to choose their faculties themselves. The fee structure at VIT is divided into five categories with different fee structures while you need to pay around 2.5lpa for BTech in CSE at SRM institute of sciences and technology.

You can get a detailed review for VIT Amravati at https://www.careers360.com/university/vit-ap-university-amaravati

and for SRM, Trichy you can visit https://www.careers360.com/colleges/srm-trp-engineering-college-tiruchirappalli/cut-off

Note- You should prefer SRM in case you get a computer science and engineering seat at VIT in category else then one or two.

Hope it helps!!

When you try to compare two colleges then you would have to consider some of the parameters. Now parameters which are really important are-

  • Infrastructure
  • Curriculum
  • Placement
  • Faculty

See VIT Amaravati and SRM TRP are of no doubt that they are both good in terms of infrastructure. Thus when you consider the infrastructure then approximately both are very well developed. Now when it comes to curriculum, you will get to know that VIT has better curriculum than SRM in terms of Practicality, organized and industrially relevant curriculum. In case of placement also VIT is ahead of SRM with around 91% placement rate with average packages of Rs. 5-7LPA.

Thus considering this two parameters I would say VIT will be better. Also the faculties of VIT are more into research, which is a great thing because the updated knowledge is always preferable in case of any science subjects.

So if you want to go for the best out of the two mentioned then I would say go for VIT AMRAVATI.

**Your career is the most important. So before taking any decision do some research by yourself and if you find my reasons strong then only go for it. Else do what you feel the best for your career.
