Yes sir , i understand your query regarding jee main and about your board.
The rajasthan board is quite tough in comparison to other board as the syllabus is also tough in comparison to other board. Since,if you think rbse board is easy you can score more marks in it then choose that board and make your way to nIt.
But ,i would also like to give information about nit admission through jee as follows:
For admissions to NITs / IIITs/ GFTIs: Candidates need to have secured a minimum 75% marks in class XII or equivalent exam or be in the top 20 percentile in their class XII exam conducted by the respective board. For SC/ ST candidates, the eligibility criteria are to secure 65% marks in class XII or equivalent exam.
Please let me know other queries in conments
Hi Harshit. Calm down champ and don't panic. Don't change your board to Rajasthan board and continue with CBSE. This is because I think you have a better knowledge of cbse board and hence you could score very good marks next year.
Yes these marks will be valid for the next year's jee main score but not for this jee. You would have to give the JEE exam again. But I think that you can do even better next time and then why don't you aim for the IIT's as well.
Do bother me if you need any tips so as to how to score 90+ marks in boards.
The JEE Mains eligibility criteria is:-
1) Candidates should have passed 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board or candidates appearing for their 10+2 examination in that particular year.
2)There are different subject combinations which are compulsory for admission to the stream that is to be pursued by the candidate.
For BE/B.Tech the subjects are Language,Physics,Mathematics(compulsory),Any one from Chemistry,Biotechnology,Biology.
For B.Arch Language,Physics,Mathematics(compulsory),Any one from Chemistry,Biology,Biotechnology.
Now regarding NITs,IITs and GFITs for admission in BE/B.Tech programmes the minimum eligibility criteria is 75% and for SC/ST candidates it is 65%.
Now since you havw asked for the change of board,I would suggest you to give your exam next year from CBSE boarda itself.Though Rajasthan Board may he easier than CBSE,if you change your board it will be a whole new thing for you and may take time for you to adjust.Since you have not met the eligibility criteria this year that doesn't mean that you will not be able to do it the next year also.Give your best and schedule your studies.Apart from tutions self study is more important and also more beneficial.
Rest of decision is yours.
Thank you.
The year you have been qualified
