Regarding parul University......Is it good or bad

I have pass out my engineering in 2011 Electronics and communication.

1. College life is the the worst

2. I heard from my junior that so many fines. even for 1 lecture bunk as well. This is the worst part in college.

3. Faculty is not good. Nothing in lecture. Faculty does not matter in engineering. Self learning only can help.

4. Average college.

5. Equipment for practical knowledge are good.

6. campus is really good.

Better to prepare well and get admission in govt college like M.S university and L.D engineering.

I understand your concern that you want to know all about the university in which you are going to give the most  precious 4 years out of your life.

So , firstly you must know that it is not so reputed university with 4 star rating  . Also  this university is strictly disciplined , so if you are expecting to live your college life here like in movies , then be ready to pay your pockets as fine only. If you are living in hostel , then its  fine . But if yiu are not living in hostel , then transportation facililty can be an issue forbyou because this university is 11-12 km away from vadodara city and is in a completely isolated place. More focus on theoretical knowledge than practical knowledge.

But the two things in which this university is good are : faculty and placements.

Professors here are from NITs and IITs . Although they are not mych experienced , but  They try to  give their best  to help students .

And the placements are really good for CS studebts .The students of this branch are placed with an average package of 4-5 lacs and around 80% of students get placed every  year. But the placements for other branches are just mediocre.
