Hello Aspirant,
As we go through the latest cut-off analysis of 2020 then it shows that if a candidate belonging to General category is scoring around 96-97 percentile then also he can get NIT but it would be the lower NITs like most of the Eastern NITs, like NIT Silchar, NIT Agartala and so on but if you need top NITs like NIT Allahabad, NIT Jaipur, NIT Bhopal then you should try to maintain your JEE-Main 2021 score at least on the line of 99+ percentile and if you want to get good branch in any of the good NITs then your target should be 99.8+ percentile and marks against such percentile should be around 200-250 out of 300 marks based on previous year's analysis.
