A residence certificate is an official document that can be used to prove that a person is a resident of a particular State/Union Territory.Residence certificate is a proof of permanent residence of a citizen in a village or town or ward. This Certificate is required as proof of residence to avail Residence / Resident Quotas in educational institutions and in the Government Service, and in case of jobs where local residents are preferred.Domicile certificate will be in the name of whom it is necessary.
