Dear there is nothing like good or bad Branch and no Branch promises a good career.It all depends on interest of the student that what he wants to learn and do in life.If you like communication devices, electronics then you can join because there is immense scope in both.But if you are interested in mechanical, machines,powerplants etc.then mechanical is for you.Mechanical is also known as evergreen Branch because you will have a scope in almost every industry in India and abroad.So,this way mechanical will have a better future but the competition is there.So, choose wisely and work hard.

All engineering branches have equal importance and have good scope in future.It always depends on your intreset to choose which branch.But,if you have equal intreset in both then go for mechanical if you excel in this field your carrer will be great.

Mechanical Engineering is a core branch and it is considered the combination of almost all branches. While communication engineering or telecommunication engineering is a new branch and it involves the study of communication systems and satellite communication etc.

The job offers in mechanical engineering are decresing day by day. But the government jobs and chances through gate exam and ESE exam are very high in mechanical branch.

The core jobs are not high in communication engineering and you can get private job. I would suggest mechanical engineering for better future.

If you want to do a government job then you can go for mechanical engineering because it has more vacancies in govt sector as compared to electronics.



If you want to do work in private sector then electronics is a better option although electronics also have some vacancies in govt. Sector at a higher level.



Take that branch in which you have some interest, because at last your hard work will give you a good and stable future.
