respected potential respondent, there has been 6 years gap after my graduation since of financial instability at that time that no more exist now; therefore, I gave helping hand to ease family financial instability. shall it affect my chances to get admission to one of the top B school ?
Hello Nadeem
The gaps years between your graduation and CAT will only affect you if you didn't work for all those years and you're disconnected to your field. Since you supported your family through a financial crisis, you have a solid reason of attempting the paper late plus you must have worked somewhere to help your family, right? So the experience you've gained in the last 6 years, will only add good to your cv. If you still think that your cv is not good enough, I would suggest you to do some courses related to your choice of MBA specialization. For instance, you're planning marketing, so do some courses in marketing and sales or digital marketing. Just keep your knowledge and confidence high.
All the best!
