Computer Science and Engineering (with a focus on Bioinformatics),food technology, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, biomedical,Environmental Engineering are the options available for pceb students.if you choose your stream according to placement CSE (with bioinformatics) has better placements than all other in vit.
The facility is very good in vit You will get to do 2–3 mini projects and one comparably larger project in each semester besides the theory and practical papers . It gives you good study environment. If you want to pursue your career in engineering , then this is the right place .

The admission in VIT in the course of B.Tech is through an entrance exam of VIT itself, and is called VITEEE. The eligible candidate who can apply to appear in this exam is to have minimum 60% in their class 12th with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics being their core subjects.
