Dear aspirant,
This will be a bit long answer and will depend on you expectation of how you want your future to be
B.Tech considered as a bigger version of BSC and is a year longer than bsc with more technical point of view.
Companies prefer Btech over BSC
Study is not much in depth and courses aren't taught as deeply or clearly as in Bsc.
Maintaining good record through all semisters is mandatory for good placement
Foreign companies may call you
Further studies M.tech (optional)
Bsc
3 years course and easier compared to btech
More chance of entering research field
good for those who want to learn the whole field slowly and properly
Higher studies Msc mandatory for good job placement
Chances of foreign companies giving a call is almost NIL
Having said this if your Private college is ranked in the top 10 in which ever state you are getting it in then apply the above criterias, See which one you like, if technical is your way to life choose btech else bsc. Keep in mind Bsc+Msc will get you a good job where as btech alone can get you one
