respected sir/madam i am studying civil engineering in NiE college mysore in 1st semister.. is it enough if i read previous years question papers for 1st internals?? will the same question would be asked in the internals for 20 marks for VTU

Hi.
End semester or Mid semester examinations are an internal matter of the college. Your seniors will be able to help you in this regard, usually they have a bank of question papers for this purpose only or they might be able to give you an idea what to study and how the examination paper is going to look depending on the professor of the course.
