Dear Student ,
Yes , It's possible .. but only on the basis of individual college's requirement .Some colleges may take admission only on the basis of who have taken BSW or BA in Social Work in their Graduation .
Well, in Distance learning program , you can opt MSW without any restriction regarding graduation topic .
Like, in IGNOU, you can easily opt Master in Social Work Prog .
you can check their official website for more details :

Hope this helps !
Hello dear,
Yes, you can most certainly go for Master of social work course without having a bachelor's degree in the same. All the major central and state Universities provide this course. Having sociology majors in your graduation would surely help you with this course as you already have basic knowledge about the functioning of the society. You're already acquainted with a subject which provides you a grip over various theories.
You can appear in the entrance test of the following universities to enroll yourself in this course.

After completing your Masters programme in Social Works you'll have myriad fields to work in, you can work with some NGOs, as clinical social workers, healthcare social workers, in rehabilitation centres etc.
All the best!
