I WOULD LIKE TO INFORM YOU THAT THE UNIVERSITY HAS A GOOD CAMPUS AND A VERY GOOD FACULTY, BUT THE TUTION FEES AND MESS CHARGES ARE AROUND 20 LAKHS FOR 4 YEARS WHICH IS QUITE COSTLY WHEN YOU COMPARE IT WITH OTHER PRIVATE ENGINEERING COLLEGES . PLUS YOU WILL GET GOOD PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES IN THE UNIVERSITY AS 94% STUDENTS GOT PLACED LAST YEAR, BUT JOB OFFERS ARENT SO GOOD WHEN YOU COMPARE IT WITH VIT OT BITS. THE AVERAGE CTC IS 6 LAKH PER ANNUM, WHICH IS NOT WORTH PAYING 20  LAKH TO A UNIVERSITY. I WOULD PREFER YOU TAKE ADMISSION IN PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES LIKE VIT OR BITS WHICH ARE WORTH THE AMOUNT YOU PAY THEM FOR YOUR EDUCATION. IF YOU ASK ME, UPES IS A BAD UNIVERSITY FOR STUDYING CSE. PLEASE TAKE A WISE DECISION.

University of Petroleum and Energy Studies(UPES) is one of the premier institute for offering petroleum related courses. For computer Science branch also it is one of the good universities. At UPES nearly all the BTech courses in CSE are offered in collaboration with IBM & Xebia.
