Out of the two the best number is taken in the main exam and improvement exam, rest the number of different subjects are taken from main exam and then divide it with total number*100 you get your result.
Note-if you have 50 marks in physics in original one and in improvement you have 90 or some other figure then the new marks will be considered for total percentage.
Hello,
If you have two marksheets, one with five subjects and another three subjects better from improvement exams, your university admission percentage calculation should be based on the highest marks secured in each subject.
Here's how it is to be calculated:
Take the higher marks of each subject in both the marksheets (whichsoever is better among originals and improvement).
Make sure you have the best scores for all of your five subjects.
Add the best marks of the five subjects.
Divide by 500 (maximum possible marks) multiplied by 100 to get the percentage.
Most Universities accept the best scores from both marksheets, but you can always be safe to refer the particular guideline to the university you are applying to as the rule may vary.
This way, it is ensured that you present your best working performance for getting a good chance of winning admission.
