With a rank of 15,976 in the SC category, it becomes difficult to procure a seat in the NIT's or IIIT's when comparing the results of previous years. Last year, the closing ranks for SC category in NIT's were around 6,000 in the Home state quota and even less for thr other state quota. But one thing to keep in mind is that scores and ranks vary each year with difficulty level of the question paper and availability of seats.
