Result shows Percentile score, how can I calculate marks from it?

Percentile and Percentage are two different things. Percentage is based on the marks one obtain while Percentile is based on your rank. Now, rank is calculated by your marks and rank is used to calculate percentile score. Percentile is equal to number of candidates who score less or equal to your score divided by total number of candidates who appeared in the exam whole multiplied by 100. So you can see percentile can not tell your exact marks.

The exam is over and the result is out , don't worry too much about your rank , just the percentile will do for now .apply to college and hopeEypu get your desire stream .

Hey !

The formula for calculating percentile score is

Percentile score = (your marks/topper's marks)×100

So , if you know the marks of  topper , you can easily calculate your marks from your percentile.

And as much as i know ,the topper is priyant jain with a score of 99.98 .
