NIT Patna is the second oldest engineering college of India. Its origin can be traced to 1886 with the establishment of a survey training school and subsequent renaming it to Bihar college of Engineering in 1900.


Placements Statistics are satisfactory with most students getting placed with average package around 5 lakhs. Some brilliant minds do manage to bag pretty impressive figures going up to 15 lakhs but it depends on students capability only.
