T o be Eligible for SSR ,you must pass 10+2 with maths and  physics and atleast in one of the following subjects in Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology .The age of candidate should be between 17 to 21 during the time of enrolment.

For Artificer Apprentice (AA),  you must have 60% aggregate in 10+2  with Mathematics and Physics and anyone of the three subjects i.e Chemistry/Biology/Computer Science. Again ,your age must be between 17 to 21 by the time of enrolment.

Application forms  for both SSR and AA are available in this site: www.joinindiannavy.gov.in . To apply for both ,you must submit two separate applications. Applications are to be sent only via ordinary post. Usually, advertisements are made in December/January or June/July.

For August 2019 batch ,the application was available online from 14th December 2018 to 30th December 2018.

Procedure for selection for both SSR and AA includes  written test ,physical fitness test and medical test. If you qualify for written test ,then you are allowed to go for physical fitness test and only if you qualify physical fitness test ,then you are allowed to go for medical examination. The syllabus for written examination is available on the website that I mentioned earlier. And then  Physical test  consists of 1.6 km run in 7 minutes ,20 squats and 10 pushups. The medical examination is conducted by military doctors following guidelines.
