Sainik School Admission Eligibility Criteria For Class 6
1. Students must be 10 to 12 years as of March 31, 2022.
2. Students should have completed Class 5 from a recognised school.
3. Admission for Girls is open for Class VI. The age criteria for the girls are similar to that of boys.

Sainik School Admission Eligibility Criteria For Class 9
1. Candidates must be 13 to 14 years as of March 31, 2022.
2. Candidates applying for Class 8 admissions must have completed Class 9 from a recognised school.
3. Gender – Only boys can apply for Class 9 admission.

Now, discuss about the admission process

• Students Scoring above 25% Marks are eligible for Counselling or Admission Process in Sainik Schools.
• Then Cut Off List is released Category wise from which you have to take reference for further Rankings.
• After that Seats are allotted as per seat matrix of Schools and Marks of Applicants.
• Finally Seat Allotment results are announced in different rounds by NTA for Admissions in Sainik School.

I hope you are doing well. As per your mentioned query , Sainik Schools admit boys in classes VI & IX on the basis of their merit in the Entrance Examination and an Interview and in Class XI boys are admitted on the basis of the marks scored in Class X Board examination. Now, Girl candidates are now eligible for admission to Class VI in all 33 Sainik Schools.
