Hello Student ,

I want to clearify few things with you as a common engineer gets in between 2.4–3.6 lacs. MNCs would give out an average of 4-4.8LPA.As a fressher you will not get that much high salary. Initial salary of software engineer depends on few factors like:

  • Institute from which you get graduate
  • skill and ability.
  • Domain you got for job

Your income will increase further in future based on your experience  and performance.

Hope it helps.

Thank you :)

Hello Suvarna,

Actually, the salary will depend upon a lot of factors.

Average college + Service based = 2.8 L to 4.5 L max annually.

Average college + Product based = more than 4.5 L annually.

Reputed College + Service based = more than 5 L(depends upon your performance) annually.

Reputed college + Product based = more than 8 L annually.

Note that - Above is based on my analysis.

But you can get handsome amount of salary if you really work hard in your college life, improve yourself, be confident and get into a product based company.
