This is 3 years ago .. when I entered for counselling at sastra. . They offered  1800 approximately. . But now they have included new courses.. so roughly I can say total seat would be around 1900 - 1950 not more than that. ..

individual course seat various. .
240-250 mechanical, cse
180-190 civil, it, ECE, EEE, EIE
60 students in mechatronics. .
Approximately 100 -120 are there in chemical, bio-tech. .etc..

For each class 60 students.
