Say if I get Bangalore institute of technology (bit) snq in 1st round of kcet allotment. If I choose 2nd option, and do not get any good

I am pretty sure that if you keep the colleges in the same order in second round as you did in the first round of counselling, I think you will get your college again that is BIT. The ranking will stop at you again for the least of this college. You can only get a college above BIT in the second round of counselling. To the least, you will get BIT. Hope you are doing well. The answer for your question is No. You may not get a seat through SNQ quota if you choose 2nd option. SNQ quota depends on the factors like less rank, less annual income and also the category. It also depends on the type of students getting admissions in a particular college. If you get SNQ quota in a particular college, that means you are having a good performance when compared to all others in that college, but if may not be the same in all colleges. When you opt for 2nd round, the first round college will not be available to you again, until last round. So my sincere suggestion is don't loose the SNQ quota seat as it is a rare thing and fees will be less than 10k. I hope you got the point after reading this answer.
