2. There are many opportunities in the Public Sector for Surveyor, Cartographer, Geographer and many other positions. You may consider it as an option. You have opportunities in ISRO, Mining Industries, GIS and Remote Sensing Organizations and you have regular opportunities and advertisements.

3. You may prepare for Government Service Examinations like UPSC CSE, SSC CGL as well as many other like State Administrative Service Examination. Students from Social Studies, have a great share among UPSC CSE Qualifiers.
