If we Consider total no of students to be 10 lakh

and apply the formula

Rank =( total no of students -( percentile*0.01*total no of students))

so your expected rank would be Rank = 556800

we cant say what actual marks for your 44.32 percentile but you get very less marks according to that percentile .

If your Percentile is above 80 then your marks is good below 80 yo have decent marks and below 60 less marks.
