Screwed up CAT exam yesterday..what are the best available options for me to join in any good college with best ROI?
You got good academics and there is nothing to worry about future. There are other exams like xat mat and cmat.
Let me tell you about xat.
XAT Preparation Strategy
The paper can be split into three parts: concept driven, practice intensive and environment sensitive. Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation and select areas of Verbal & Logical Ability are concept driven; Decision Making & Analytical Reasoning is a purely practice intensive section while General Knowledge is environment sensitive
The exam is markedly different from the other MBA entrance exams as it features a section on Decision Making. This is an area that checks your management aptitude by presenting different situations and cases, and asks you to identify the correct recourse in these situations
Now cmat.
CMAT Preparation Strategy
The paper can be split into three parts: concept driven, practice intensive and environment sensitive. Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation and select areas of Language Comprehension are concept driven. Questions on these areas are difficult to attempt without concept clarity and hence it is advised to brush up the key fundamentals in these areas. Logical Reasoning is a purely practice intensive section and the comfort level here is directly proportional to practicing across similar questions. General Awareness is environment sensitive and can be best prepared by a dichotomous approach, viewing the section as a make up of current and static awareness
I wish you all the best.
Cheers !!
But for getting admission in these colleges you need to score very high like for FMS you need ti get 99.5+ percentile whose fees for MBA for 2 years is only INR 20000 and average final placements package is INR 20.5 Lakhs per annum.
Same for JBIMS fees is approx INR 2 lakh for two years and average package is 17.5 Lakhs per annum. To get admission you need to score 97+ percentile with a very good profile.
For IITs with 90+ percentile you can get call from all IITs accept IIT Bombay which requires 95+ percentile to get a call.
Wait for results too. If you get decent percentile then you can try for a good college. With your academic records you can get a good college.
All the best!!
So do well.in CMAT and MAT exam you can still end up.in good college.
It depends on how much you are expecting. You can get into IMI Delhi, IMT Ghaziabad and Nagpur if you are not confident on your CAT score. If you have registered for XAT try performing better there and getting into XLRI or XIMB. If you are giving SNAP you can get into SIBM or SCMHRD. These will be the best bets for you.
