seats reserved for ews at dtu for bba course? and minimum percentage for bba at dtu ews category?
The eligibility for getting admission in BBA course in DTU is that the candidate has to score minimum 50% in 12 th board examination from a recognized board and must have English(core/elective) as a subject in 10+2. 40 %marks are required for SC/ST/PWD. 45% marks are required for OBC-NCL and Defence Personnel.
The seats for matrix for EWS is as follows:
- Economically Weaker Section General Delhi (EWGND)- 18
- Economically Weaker Section General Outside Delhi (EWGNO) – 3
- Economically Weaker Section Defence Personnel Delhi (EWCWD) – 0
- Economically Weaker Section Defence Personnel Outside Delhi (EWCWO) – 0
- Economically Weaker Section Differently Abled Persons Outside Delhi (EWPDO) – 0
- Economically Weaker Section Differently Abled Persons Delhi (EWPDD) - 0
Reservation for Delhi Region : 85% of the seats are reserved for Delhi region candidates. The candidate must pass from a recognized school within the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
Reservation for Outside Delhi Region: 15% of the seats are reserved for candidates outside Delhi region. The candidate will be considered for Outside Delhi Region if the candidate passes from a recognized outside National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
Person with disability (PD) claiming reservation shall be allowed a relaxation of 10% marks in the minimum marks criterion in qualifying examination.
Candidates claiming reservation under Defence sub category shall be allowed a relaxation of 5% marks in the minimum marks criterion in the qualifying examination.
The cut off for the year 2020 was 90% in spot counselling for general category. The cut off for EWS category will be lower than the general category.
