In my opinion, they won't check your earlier details(provided you don't have a criminal record). You'll apply(its better to apply online) and a new ARN number will be generated.If you provide them with all valid documents then there won't be any problem.But don't try to forge any document as they are experts in finding it out. You must have your birth certificate with correct spellings of your name, father's name,mother's name and other details.Also some address proof,matriculation certificate. Visit Passport seva site and you'll get to know all that is required for the process.
