Dear Aspirant,

The selection procedure in Thapar University for B.E/B.Tech programs is based in two modes. In Mode I , 70% of the seats are filled through JEE Main 2020 percentile on merit basis. For this the candidate must have passed 10+2 with minimum 60% in Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject.

In Mode II, 30% of the seats are filled on merit basis for the candidates securing minimum 75% in PCM or Physics, Mathematics and any one subject out of Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and Technical Vocational subject. Also the candidate should have appeared JEE MAIN 2020
