In the statement which you mentioned above in the question, the concerned subject implies that if you are giving exam for BSc Hons Physics then you should have more than 50% marks only in Physics also apart from the aggregate.

If you are giving the entrance exam for BSc Hons Chemistry then you should have more than 50% marks in Chemistry only apart form the aggregate.
