i would recommend you first concentrate on NCERT books in order to prepare for chemistry subject , NCERT is considered as best books as most of question being asked straight from that book .apart from NCERT here i am recommending you some more books which you can read and make your preparation more good

2. organic chemistry by O.P tandon - this books has excellent explanation

5. physical chemistry by P.W atkins - use to practice questions
