As per the official announcement, you get two attempts for JEE Mains(January & April) as per NTA.

From 2019, studnets can sit for both attempts of jee main conducted by NTA in January and April 2019.
Students can also wish to appear for anyone exam.
Maximum of 3attempts permissuble as of now and subject to change as per official notifications soon shall be released.
