Shivaji College, a constituent college of the University of Delhi, have always secured consistently good results in academics. Over the years, several students of the college have excelled in the academic field by obtaining top or near-top positions in various university examinations. In academic aspects, the institution is equally good for opting arts, commerce and science as well. But when talking about the placemets the commerce streams have backed higher placements in the mean time. So, if you are aiming of a job offer back in hand once you passout, then commerce would be a better option.
The placement cell of the college is much active and have a good list of placement records in the recent years. Many reputed companies like RBS, IDFC, Genpact, IBM, ey, PwC etc, visit the campus for recruitment. And the students are placed with an average package of 3.5 L.p.a.

Is teachers are good for commerce department, I means professional and experienced teacher ? And what's %age attendance required in this college ?

The institution claim to have a dedicated set of faculty with a strong background in commerce and economics that encourage the students to understand not just the theoretical, but also cognitive and practical applications of the subject. And the minimum percentage of attendence required is 75.
