Hi.

If you wish to take admission in government colleges under engineering course then it is important that you participate in JOSAA Counselling which will allow you to get admission in govt. engineering colleges across India.

This includes 23 IITs,  31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs and 33 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs).

However, there are some state counselling conducted as well, you can also consider those.

If you wish to know which college you are eligible for admission, based on your rank and home state then you can use our College Predictor tool for JEE Mains to help you in finding college and branch of your choice based on your merits in the exam.

Good luck
