Should i do b pharmacy or bsc i personally want to do bsc msc and i am ready to study for 5 to 6 years i dont like bpharmacy but my parents are telling me to do b pharmacy please help
We all have been there at a point in our lives. At crossroads of what we want and what our parents want. B.Sc and M.Sc is good but it depends on the stream that you want to take up. Or you can also try Integrated courses. If you take a simple life science stream for your B.Sc, the opportunities might not be that broad when compared to B.Pharmacy. So you have to pick up a stream that has better opportunities in the next 5 years when compared to B.Pharmacy. If you have one in mind, research about the course, create a road map and lay out its scope in the next 5--6 years on a paper. On the other hand, write the scope of B.Pharmacy too. This might sound old school but nothing works better than when you put things in white and black. Have a discussion with your parents. Trust us, you will not regret this because at the end of the day, this is your career and life and you have to live with it for as many days of your life on this planet. And so, it only makes sense that you put in all the efforts. Explain the scope of both the fields and that should work in your way. But the catch is to select a stream that has future scope.
