Although HIT is not that bad , it is an average college.
The college infrastructure is good Campus structure is good. The facilities are good. Placement is good but not upto the mark and that is too for some branches only.Haldia has many petrochemical industry that's why most of the students from chemical department gets placement with average package. Most of its placement comes from CSE and IT branch as the company visiting the college is Infosys,Wipro, tech Mahindra etc. which recruit mostly in IT sector.Other department has less placement as compared to CSE and IT(75-80%).And coming to the internship,no college does not provide any internship.
B.Tech/B.Arch Admissions OPEN
One of the best thing about this college is that the faculties are really helpful and not all but some of them are very talented and teaches in a friendly way.If someone is eager to know anything from their faculty, then it's right place.
thankyou
