Hey!

I would suggest that you should take admission in B.Sc. biology for this year instead of dropping a year for cracking NEET. This does have many benefits:

1. You will learn biology of higher level in B.Sc.

2. In B.Sc., the first year is usually a recapitulation of classes 11th and 12th. In addition, those topics are taught with more detailed explanations.

3. If by chance you do not clear NEET next year too then atleast you can continue to complete your B.Sc. without worrying about your career.

4. College life is usually a bit relaxed than school life. If you manage efficiently, you can revise PCB subjects well throughout the year. Your biology won't require that much revision though as you will be studying it everyday in college.

5. Colleges give extended holidays throughout the year.

Hope you make wise choices. Best wishes!

I checked out that Bsc 2nd semester exams start from 22 April and NEET would fall in starting of May. What should I do now?

Hey! First you can be relaxed about the biology portion. In universities, students get long breaks and it is flexible to take holidays easily. And lectures do end early in 1st year. So, you can surely manage your time well.
NEET will be on weekend for sure. So, there won't be a clash of exam dates too.
You will be fine :)

Hey Murali,

According to your query, it is all up to your interest and preferences. Lucknow University is one of the top University in India for Bsc and other courses so if you want to do Bsc then you should not take drop. Placements of this University is also good. Now if you are rigid to take medical line then you should take drop for one year and concentrate on studies only. Every year many students take drop so it's not like to be on safer side but either you have to choose for your brighter career. There are positive chances also to get you cleared next year. Hope you find it useful.

Thank you.

Hello dear aspirant

I would suggest you to take admission in B.Sc course to be on a safer side,  most of the students do follow this strategy. You can do the preparation of NEET as well as you can pursue B.Sc,  if you manages to get a good NEET score next year,  you can take admission in Medical otherwise you can continue with your B.Sc course.

Hope I am clear.
