Hello,
Giving a mocktest after the end of every chapter sounds better, because in that way you will be able to know the strengths even in the weak areas, and also you will be thorough with every topic. Also take the mock tests for the entie syllabus too. It helps you to deal with few obstacles that you face in the final exam.
All the best!
Hey! As per my advice you should complete mock test after every chapter as opting this method you know after every mock test that how well is the chapter prepared if you didn't score good in mock test you can read the chapter again or can practice it more. If you go for chapter wise mock test after completing whole syllabus you have to go to different chapters again to clarify your doubts.
Hello,
According to me you should give mock tests after completing each chapter.this would make your concept more stronger and would give you a idea from very beginning about the question patterns .after you have completed all the chapters, then you could give mock tests for complete syllabus of jee which would help you a lot to know about the trend of questions.
Hope this would help you
Good luck
In general, the amount of practice needed by any student depends on a number of factors like IQ of the student, willingness to work hard, the current level of understanding of concepts and much more.
There is one thing that can be generalized for all the students,
- You can take 6-12 tests depending on the time you have before the exam. Apart from the syllabus tests, you should make sure that you take at least one full syllabus test every weekend. You should ideally take the JEE Main mock test between 10 AM -1 PM as that is when actual JEE Main exam is conducted.
- Start with a full syllabus test and analyze it: If you are done with your syllabus, make sure you take a full syllabus JEE Main mock test and analyze your performance.
- Choose your most comfortable subject: You are strongly advised to begin your mocks with different subjects. As you analyze your mocks, you will get an idea about your most comfortable subject, which can attempt the fastest with a higher accuracy. You can also begin with the subject whom you find the easiest to solve, thus keeping more time for the difficult subjects.
- Quantity doesn’t matter: Most of the students make a mistake of taking a lot of mocks or taking one mock every day. Rather than focusing on giving a lot of JEE Main mock tests, you should give a lesser number of tests and properly analyze your mistakes in those, to actually improve your performance. Make sure you don’t overload yourself with tests.
I Hope this will help to boost your JEE score
All the Best!!!
