Hello, Giving a mocktest after the end of every chapter sounds better, because in that way you will be able to know the strengths even in the weak areas, and also you will be thorough with every topic. Hey! As per my advice you should complete mock test after every chapter as opting this method you know after every mock test that how well is the chapter prepared if you didn't score good in mock test you can read the chapter again or can practice it more. If you go for chapter wise mock test after completing whole syllabus you have to go to different chapters again to clarify your doubts.

According to me you should give mock tests after completing each chapter.this would make your concept more stronger and would give you a idea from very beginning about the question patterns .after you have completed all the chapters, then you could give mock tests for complete syllabus of jee which would help you a lot to know about the trend of questions.
