You should go for BITS PILANI, if fee is not an issue,as it's way better than NIT SURAT, it has NIRF RANK of 25 whereas NIT SURAT has NIRF RANK of 58 in NIRF RANKING 2019. It is one of the first six institutes to be awarded the Institute of Eminence status in 2018. BITS Pilani has been accredited by NAAC with A grade with a CGPA of 3.45. The average salary package offered here is around 11-12 LPA. The salary package offered for the students of the CS department is 15-16 LPA. Also ,the placement rate is great here which is more than 97%. If I tell you about the year 2018, then the highest salary package offered in 2018 was 1.15 crores per annum, and it was offered to a student of the CS branch. Also you have chances of getting placed in dream companies as companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Uber, and IBM etc., are some of the well-reputed companies that visit the campus of bits pilani for placements.

Both the university are amazing in their own sense. Their rankings are very similar and they stand as nearly equals in the university ladder. However you can decide upon your university based on your scores, the placements and the programme you are interested in.

Both the colleges are really good and among the top 10 colleges. But if compared i would say the fee of BITS, hyderabad is a lot more than NIT, surat. Also the fests of NIT, surat are much better and it is also one of the best nits. There is very slight difference among both the colleges so you can also consider location while choosing the college.
