According to me, if you want to pursue a UG degree especially from the CSE branch, a college's maximum role is only in case of PLACEMENTS. Most of the time, the students have to cope up with the trend, and therefore online lessons, as well as You-Tube videos are more preferred by the students as compared to the lectures of the teachers.

VIT Bhopal being a very new campus, it is in a dormant state, and therefore, although the placements are conducted by the main campus of Vellore, still the campus lacks good exposure. The university is constantly developing and hopefully, in 5-10 years it will be a very good college. But in the present state, the college is far behind the prestigious colleges of DU.

DU is an extremely reputed college in and out of India, has a very good image in the eyes of people. No matter which college you get under DU, as long as you get the degree of DU, the tag of DU is far better than the tag of VIT.

In case you think that B.Tech is better than B.Sc, then let me tell you that, you will always have the option to appear for GATE and other exams, for doing M.Sc from an IIT!

Just giving you a comparison between VIT Bhopal and DU on some parameters:

• Package : VIT Bhopal being a very new campus, the campus' first batch will graduate in 2021, therefore there is very little prediction in recent years. Still, if you become one of the elite students of the campus, you have the chance of getting a package of around 6lpa+. The value of a VIT degree is neither very great nor very poor. Coming to DU, the package of most of the college under DU, can fetch you the same placements easily. The value of the degree of DU is high.
• Return On Investment and fees: B.Sc fees in DU is 6 to 8 times lesser than B.Tech in VIT Bhopal and placement statistics are aforementioned, visit the official website for more info.
• Faculty : VIT faculty is well trained and extremely well qualified. The teachers are mostly P.Hd holders. Probably, VIT Bhopal has an upper hand in this when compared to DU.
• Environment: Bhopal has a very good climate, it has good places to visit. But the campus is too crowded with people. There are so many students, and the area is restricted.
• Restrictions and Rules: VIT being a private college has a lot of rules and regulations, especially for girls. VIT is a place to study, study, and study only. Busy schedule and tests. Go for DU if you prefer fewer restrictions.

Hello Arpita, BSc CS course from Delhi university because DU is the best university in India and the faculty is so knowledgeable. the study environment in DU is so better competitively compared to VIT because the students are so better academically. In DU btech, there are six applied courses such as Android on mobile platforms, etc which enhance practical knowledge too.

After all du is a brand, no.1 university in India.
It charges only 14500(including examination fee) per year while VIT approx 3-4 lakhs per annum.

Hi aspirant.

It's a good choice if you go with BTech with cse.

There will be more benefits than from BSC computers.

The career options from BTech will be more regarding the CSE branch.

CSE deals with depth topics while bsc covers it at surface level.

Project works will be common in both the options.



So you have to choose taking into consideration of the above points.
