Hello Swagata dey , JU maintain its quality in engineering . It is 1st ranked state-funded engineering college in India. Placements are good . As per last year placement statistics, the height salary package offered by a financial company for two final year students of the computer science department is 44 LPA.

And the average package is also good about 19 lakh per annum but if we talk about construction engineering then in this branch also have good placements but not in high package.

But I think it is a good choice for engineering

Jadavpur University is good and best university but construction engineering not much better compared other courses why because in placements have low average package is 3.25 LPA and Highest package also 7 LPA .
