If we talk about college reputation than IIT is the one to choose but in terms of course you will have to decide as per your interest.
Msc Eco is a degree course, 5 year course whereas Btech is a professional course, 4 year course.
Now DTU is also a reputed college but a brand name is IIT.
So you have to decide what your career plans are.
In any which ways both the courses are good and have a vast scope.
