Both of the mentioned colleges are equally good in terms of infrastructure and educational facilities, with Amritha being a tad bit more discipline-oriented. Amritha does have a couple of tech clubs that have multiple selections in Google Summer of Code every year, so if you are interested in that, Amritha might be a better option for you. Ideally, both universities are good in most aspects. If you have a choice to go for NITs or other top tier colleges, go for them. If not, either of the two aforementioned colleges, are a good bet.

VIT Chennai is undoubtedly good in terms of faculty..very knowledgeable and cooperative...thi year 2 students have been selected from 2nd year into GSOC probably 1st time at VIT Chennai...Extracuricular is also good,they are picking up by the day,infratructure is undoubtedly good...CSE is good at Chennai
