Should I join HBTU Kanpur, or take drop so as to get a good NIT next year ??
Hello
Jen
, If you think that next year exam paper is quit normal or simpler then this year then must try for next year exam but if you thinks that that year cutoff and all are quite lower then previous years then must go for HBTU.
Hope it will be helpful for you :)
Harcourt Butler Technical University, Kanpur is one of the oldest and reputed engineering college in India. Now if you are getting this college then its a very good and bright opportunity to make your career. Because this University has a very good placement records and excellent teaching methods. Last year there was a highest placement of nearly 37 lacs per annum, and also note that its chemical engineering branch and computer science engineering branch are of top quality.
Now coming on to NIT then if you take a drop then there is no sure chance that you will score good rank in your next attempt. But if you have attempts left then you can do one thing - take admission in HBTU kanpur and once again prepare for JEE mains and if you get a good rank then definitely you can get a good nit next year. But suppose that if you don't take HBTU Kanpur and also take a drop but cannot get a good rank then you can not get any of these two Institutes. So it's better that you take admission in HBTU Kanpur and then give your next attempt for jee mains.
